The 100 Days of School Party

On Tuesday Room 7 had a hundred days party at school.

First the 100 days party started and Room 7 shared their treasure boxes. Just about everyone brought a treasure box with a hundred items and shared their hundred items with everyone. Mrs Beach took a photo of everyone and then the whole class.

Next Mrs Beach put the cupcakes on the tables and each leader got 20 cupcakes and each person got a turn at icing them.

Finally we did 100 exercises and it was fantastic for me to do the jumping sack. I kept on falling over!

In my opinion I will never forget that party because I got to eat 100 cupcakes!

I am learning to show the EPS values on a school trip

Last term we went to the Auckland Museum to celebrate Matariki, the Maori New Year.

We participated in the Education programme at the Museum and even got a ta moko on our face!

I am learning to show respect by:

Being prepared – wearing the correct school uniform and getting to school on time to catch the bus to the Muesum

Following instructions and rules from the staff at the Museum

Staying with my group and parent at the Museum
